The Vision
In a city saturated with restaurant websites, the bar for "beautiful" is table stakes. Lucia needed a site that communicated the full sensory weight of dining there — the moody lighting, the textured walls, the feeling of being exactly where you're supposed to be.
The Execution
I built around full-bleed, cinematic photography as the primary storytelling device — letting the space speak first, copy second. The custom reservation module was designed to feel like an extension of the hospitality itself: frictionless, elegant, assured. Typography was selected to honor both the modern fine dining context and the cultural heritage at the brand's core. Mobile performance was non-negotiable for a LA dining audience that decides in seconds. The Impact: Lucia opened to a waitlist. The digital presence was cited by press and patrons as perfectly capturing the restaurant's atmosphere before they'd ever set foot inside — the highest possible validation of digital hospitality.
