From the pivotal Supreme Court case - Janus v. AFSCME, to AFSCME's 42nd International Convention, to the 2018 Midterm Elections - I worked on a number of critical projects aimed at telling the stories of America's working people.
interactive web and mobile design
In 2017, AFSCME began a major re-haul of their communications mission. After 83 years of serving America through primarily print publications, they maneuvered their focus to digital. I had the opportunity to create compelling interactive websites to tell their mission, their stories, and why public sector employees are the backbone of America.
Front-end graphic development
AFSCME's new digital toolkit allowed it's thousand's of employees around the country the ability to create personalized visually appealing flyers, mailers, tri-folds, and more without the need of any design tools.
I was responsible for prototyping and designing user-facing templates via InDesign & Photoshop then turning them into fully-functional coded pieces. Once the designs were prepared, employees were be able to select their choice of 20+ template and customize them with information, pictures, and logos as needed.
